A perfect meal for cold winter days.
800 g meat /beef, mutton or pork/I prefer beef.
2 big carrots, grated
1 onion, chopped
200 g beetroot grated
600 g sauerkrauter, chopped
2-3 laurel leaves
Oil to taste
1.Boil the meat and chop it into smaller pieces.
2.Stew for 5 minutes the onion and the carrots.
3.Add the other ingredients and boil in the meat broth until ready.
4.Finally add the chopped meat.
5.Serve hot with some sour cream optional.
