Roasted Veal With Vegetables
600g beef fillet
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup water
3 sprigs fresh parsley or 3 pinches of dried
1 sprig fresh mint or 1 pinch dried
Wash the meat. Salt it from all sides and place in a baking pan.
Peel the onion and chop finely.
Cut carrots cut into circles. Place vegetables around the meat.
Pour with hot water. Add the butter.
Bake in a preheated oven at medium heat.
From time to time turn over the meat to prevent burning.
If it needs watering, water it from the tray to become the most tender.
Shortly before it is ready sprinkle with spices and bake for a few minutes.
Serve the meat cut into slices.
